Dr Jane Thomason,
BSW, MPH, PhD
CEO

Dr Thomason has been a senior health and hospital manager, team leader and international health policy analyst for over 20 years. Her international career has included work for the Asian Development Bank, World Health Organization, World Bank, USAID and AusAID. She has worked in Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. Prior to founding JTA International in 2000 Jane held appointments as Director of Women's Health in Queensland, CEO of the Royal Children's Hospital in Queensland, Commissioner on the Commission of Inquiry into Child Abuse in Queensland and Chairman of the Wesley Hospital Board. Jane is a member of the Consultative Council of the Australian Centre for International Tropical Health and Nutrition. She also serves on the Aid Advisory Council to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.
