JTA International has been providing health services to Ok Tedi Mining Limited in PNG since 2004.

Design and management of the redevelopment of the Tabubil hospital.

Training and education for hospital staff.
Provision of advice and support to community outreach program, focusing on prevention, surveillance, training, treatment and support.
Public Health
Provision of public health expertise to develop and implement strategies to control malaria and other vector borne diseases, tuberculosis and sexually transmitted infections.
HIV/AIDSHIV/AIDS is at epidemic stage in PNG, presenting major risks to both mine employees and surrounding communities. JTA International developed and implemented a HIV/AIDS strategy for the mine and the community. We have also developed partnerships between the mine and local stakeholders and national bodies in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
